VoygerLA Ted E Norton AI Storytelling

Things I love

October 14, 2025 Check Out Ted Norton’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ted Norton.

Hi Ted, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

Ted Ernest Norton: From Personal Trials to Founding My Living HeadStone

I say that “life is story”. Not just the ones we tell, yet the ones that shape us. My own story began in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where I was raised in the values of the 1950s, tennis trophies, a church upbringing, and a curiosity that would later drive me into philosophy, technology, and storytelling.

Life was not a straight line. I had multiple successes. From college scholarship and degree, earning the highest awards a Pacific Bell, help change how American interact with TV, and became a millionaire. However, I faced turbulence, owned 7 homes in four states, four marriages, bankruptcy, personal loss, even an arrest in my youth. I survived liver cancer twice, endured betrayal, and rebuilt after financial collapse. Yet resilience and reflection became my compass. I poured this energy into writing over 350 essays, 1,234 original sayings, and thousands of images. All attempting to understand the diversity of my human experience.

Yet when I turned to video, I found my “talking head” was not the right messenger. The message was bigger than mine. That is when my technology background and a lifelong fascination with self-awareness collided with today’s AI breakthroughs. The solution appeared: “let the AI Agents do the work”.

This was the seed of My Living HeadStone (MLHS), a storytelling platform that blends voice fusion, token-audited consent, and agent-orchestrated creativity. The mission is simple and universal: give everyone the ability to preserve and share their voice, their values, and their truth in authentic ways that outlast them.

The path here was not academic; it was lived. I studied and practiced Christianity, New Age, Buddhism, philosophy, and shamanism. Each belief system gave me perspective. Each setback deepened my drive. I discovered what I call the “healing power of structured narrative”. That arranging our stories brings clarity, peace, and connection.

Today, MLHS stands as a bridge: between memory and imagination, between legacy and technology. For me, it is not just a startup, it is the culmination of a life of processing experience, turning pain into perspective, and transforming stories into lasting truth.

Because in the end, we do not simply live history, we “tell” it. And telling it well is what makes it endure.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?

Growing up in Shawnee, Oklahoma in the 1950s felt like living inside a postcard of small-town America. My childhood was a cocoon of stability, from front porches, neighborly smiles, and the simple rhythms of a community where everyone knew your name. My parents, deeply religious and grounded, raised me without alcohol in the home, guided by faith and family values. Summers meant playing all sports then settling on tennis and competition, winters brought church gatherings and quiet evenings. Shawnee gave me a blissful start, a foundation of love and discipline, before life’s turbulence arrived. It was an “Opie” and “Leave It to Beaver” childhood of innocent, structured, and forever shaping my resilience.
